WATER BORNE PRESERVATIVES
CCA preservative
Chromated Copper Arsenate provides long-term preservation and protection in wood that is exposed to the weather, the method of application is pressure treatment. The CCA preservative is an effective fungicide and termicide providing protection from a broad spectrum of decay fungi & wood boring insects. CCA is one of the most effective wood preservatives available.
CCA Treated Products are available as a Treated Wet Product or Re-Dried
ACQ
Alkaline Copper Quaternary provides long-term protection to wood exposed in exterior applications. The make up of ACQ is Copper combined with a quaternary ammonium compound and is applied to wood by pressure treatment. Copper and quaternary ammonium compounds are effective fungicides and termiticides. This combination protects against a wide range of decay fungi, borer and termites.
ACQ Treated Products are available as a Treated Wet Product or Re-Dried
BORIC
Treatment for interior construction such as wall framing, floor joists, rafters, panelling and flooring provides and protection against insect attack and fungal decay in off the ground and moisture free environments.
Boric Treated Products are not Re-Dried as the moisture content increase is very minimal .
SOLVENT BORNE PRESERVATIVES
LOSP
A white spirits based wood preservative.treatment of timber that involves the pressure treatment of the wood, it leaves the timber kiln dried after treatment. This treatment comes as either tinted green or clear treated, clear treatment is a great solution for maintaining the original colour of the wood in appearance applications.
LOSP Products are Kiln Dried once the Solvent Evaporates they return to their initial moisture content
